Clerk: Blagojevich jurors have question for judge

CHICAGO — The clerk of court says that jurors deliberating in the corruption trial of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich (blah-GOY’-uh-vich) have another question for the judge.

The statement Tuesday from Clerk of Court Michael Dobbins did not say what the question was. Such questions usually comes in the form of a note to the judge.

It’s the 14th day of deliberations. Jurors had asked Monday for transcripts of witness testimony from former deputy governor Bradley Tusk. They’re the first witness transcripts jurors will have with them in the jury room since they started deliberating.

Blagojevich has pleaded not guilty to trying to sell or trade President Barack Obama’s old Senate seat and leverage the power of his office for personal gain.
