BENSALEM, Pa. (GaeaTimes.com) — Howard G. Smith Law Offices has reportedly filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of all persons or entities who purchased the common stock of Mecox Lane Limited (”Mecox” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ:MCOX) pursuant to the Registration Statement and Prospectus issued in connection with the Company’s October 26, 2010, Initial Public Offering. The class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

The Complaint alleges that the Company and certain of its executive officers and/or directors, among others, violated federal securities laws by issuing material misrepresentations in the Registration Statement and Prospectus concerning the Company’s business and prospects, thereby artificially inflating the price of Mecox securities.
