WASHINGTON - A woman from the Philadelphia-area in the US has filed a civil suit after Donald Duck allegedly groped her at Walt Disney World.
According to website Smoking Gun, the suit was filed by April Magolon of Upper Darby, Pa., in July against Walt Disney Parks And Resorts, and Disney wants the case moved to federal court in Philadelphia.
The alleged groping happened in May 2008 when Magolon was at EPCOT in Orlando with her children and fiance, myfoxphilly.com reported.
Magolon revealed that a Disney employee wearing a Donald Duck costume grabbed her breast and then made “gestures” making a joke of the groping.
The suit also points to alleged past incidents at the park, including a case in 2004 when an employee dressed as Tigger assaulted two people.
Magolon is claiming negligence, battery, and infliction of emotional distress, and is seeking in excess of 50,000 dollars in damages from Disney. (ANI)
