ISLAMABAD - Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said terrorists who have been sentenced to death will not be pardoned even if capital punishment is abolished in the country, the Online news agency reported Thursday.

In an interview with Private TV Channel, Malik said although a draft has been sent to the law division for consultation to abolish capital punishment, terrorists awaiting execution would not be pardoned.

Malik said all stakeholders would be consulted before capital punishment is abolished.
