GANDHINAGAR - Security has been tightened in Gujarat ahead of the Ayodhya verdict by the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court Thursday.

SOMNATH - Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Lal Krishna Advani on Saturday expressed surprise over the Supreme Court's decision to stay the final verdict on Ayodhya title case, but appealed to the people and BJP workers to maintain calm and respect the decision.

NEW DELHI/ GANDHI NAGAR - Union Minister for Law and Justice Veerappa Moily on Saturday said that even if the appearance of Gujarat Chief Minister Narender Modi before the Supreme Court appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT) was most unfortunate, it did reflect that all were equal before the law.
