BHOPAL - A three-day festival of films on the subject of disability will be held in Bhopal from Dec 17, officials said Monday.

During the festival, Aamir Khan starrer ‘Taare Zameen Par’ which deals with dyslexic children, ‘Dosti’, a story of two disabled friends (both Hindi), and Oscar winner ‘A Beautiful Mind’ will be screened, the officials said, adding that the intention is to encourage the disabled and associate them with the mainstream.

Along with the feature films, the festival will also screen small films made on disability.

The festival is being organised by the state’s social justice department and NGO Arushi, which is working for the handicapped in state. It will be held at the Bharat Bhavan here.

The festival will be later organised at the divisional and district levels too, the officials said.
