Mass. prosecutor changes claim body was ‘cooked’

DEDHAM, Mass. — A prosecutor who had said two Massachusetts men “cooked” a man’s body at a concrete company after killing him now says the remains were “incinerated” at an unknown location.

Robert Nelson said Friday in court that longtime friends Paul Moccia of Dedham and Daniel Bradley of Westwood killed Angel Antonio Ramirez in March because Moccia owed him $70,000 for drugs.

Nelson says the 37-year-old Framingham man was killed in or near Bradley’s concrete factory.

Forty-nine-year-old Moccia and 48-year-old Bradley pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder. Their attorneys deny the charges. Bradley’s attorney says a defense investigator is looking for Ramirez, whose remains haven’t been found.

The men are being held without bail and are due back in court Oct. 9.
