Hardoi (U.P), - A group of lawyers on Saturday took out a march in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district to protest police atrocities.

On Friday, a group of lawyers were baton-charged by the police when they apparently tried to prevent bogus voting in the district during the local polls.

The lawyers claimed one of them was beaten up by the police when they tried to prevent bogus voting in the elections to the village councils.

His wife was also beaten up and was seen with blood oozing from her right hand.

The police have arrested six other people. (ANI)
