MUMBAI - The Bombay High Court has ordered that 26/11 terrorist Ajmal Kasab and his lawyers should meet in the presence of jail officials.
According to a court ruling, jail officials will stay close enough to see and hear Kasab during his legal consultation.
Kasab was convicted for killing people and for terror activities against India. He has been sentenced to death by the court and is being kept at the Arthur Road Jail.
Following the incident of an attack on a jail official by Kasab, the Maharashtra Government said that Kasab’s lawyers face a risk while meeting with him.
Security camera footage, which had captured Kasab attacking a jail official on September 1, was submitted to the court for review. (ANI)
