Gujarat tribunal chief appointed

GANDHINAGAR - A tribunal for taking up disputes related to public works contracts will soon become functional as its chairman has been appointed, the Gujarat High Court was informed by the state government Thursday.

The state government submitted that Judicial Officer K.M. Vin has been appointed chairman of the Gujarat Public Works Contract Arbitration Tribunal.

The submission came before the division bench of Justice Bhagwati Prasad and Justice J.C. Upadhyaya after a petitioner sought the court’s intervention over the non-functional tribunal.
