LAHORE - The Lahore High Court has dismissed an appeal filed by Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik against punishments announced by the Accountability Court on Monday.
“It should be mentioned that accountability courts declared three-year sentences for not appearing in two different cases,” reports The News.
At the outset of the case, the court suspended his sentences on his plea and granted him bail.
Legal experts, however, said Malik might be arrested for being a court absconder. (ANI)
