Supreme Court to go on 49-day recess

NEW DELHI - The Supreme Court will go on a 49-day summer recess starting Monday. The court re-opens July 5.

During the vacation, two benches will function to hear urgent and regular matters. The bench of Justice G.S. Singhvi and Justice C.K. Prasad would hear urgent matters, while the bench of Justice B.S. Chauhan and Justice Swatanter Kumar will hear regular matters.
