Haryana officials to monitor cases of their departments

CHANDIGARH - Embarrassed by failure of officials of various departments to appear before courts for hearing of cases, the Haryana government Monday instructed its top officials to monitor all court cases pertaining to their departments.
“The state government has instructed all the administrative secretaries, heads of various departments, divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners and managing directors of boards and corporations to monitor all court cases through ‘court cases monitoring information system, said the official spokesperson of Haryana here Monday.
We have observed that cases pending in various courts are not monitored properly, resulting in humiliation and imposition of cost to the state government, he added.
The software and technical guidance regarding this information system will be supplied to all officials concerned, he pointed out.
