Lindsay Lohan due in court for probation hearing
LOS ANGELES — Lindsay Lohan is due in a Beverly Hills courtroom for a hearing Tuesday that could end with the star sent to jail for violating her probation.
A judge will decide whether the 24-year-old violated the terms of her probation in recent months by falling behind on her alcohol education courses and missing a key court hearing in May.
Lohan remains under court supervision after pleading guilty in August 2007 to misdemeanor drug charges and no contest to three driving counts.
She spent 84 minutes in jail, but could be sentenced to a year in jail Tuesday.
After her last missed hearing, a judge required the “Mean Girls” star to wear an ankle alcohol monitor, which issued an alert last month after a night of partying.
