LUCKNOW - Slamming the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for discriminating against her, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati Wednesday claimed in the Supreme Court that the disproportionate assets case made out against her was “baseless, unfounded and illegal”.

“Obvious political motivations have led the CBI to adopt double standards in dealing with identical DA (disproportionate assets) cases against me and those against Mulayam Singh Yadav and Laloo Prasad Yadav,” she said in a 230-page affidavit submitted by her in the Supreme Court.
