NEW DELHI - The Supreme Court Tuesday said it will hold a two-day hearing from Feb 1, 2011 on former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav’s plea seeking review of the court’s direction for a federal probe into a complaint alleging possession of illegal assets.

The order was passed after a brief hearing by Justice Altamas Kabir and Justice H.L. Dattu.

Singh and his family members have sought review of the court’s direction for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into a complaint alleging possession of disproportionate assets by them.

The court March 1, 2007 ordered a CBI probe on a complaint filed by Vishwanath Chaturvedi.
