KARACHI - Troubles for former Pakistan President President General Pervez Musharraf are far from over, as the Sindh High Court has issued a notice on a constitutional petition pending against him on charges of abrogating the Constitution, and has directed the concerned authorities to publish the notice in British newspapers.

The petition stated that Musharraf assisted by his close associates, including former principal and senior adviser Sharifuddin Pirzada and former attorney general of Pakistan Malik Muhammad Qayyum had disregarded the Constitution of the country.

The petition maintained that the respondents were guilty of high treason, The Daily Times reports.

After hearing the plea, the court issued the notice against Musharraf and asked the authorities to publish the same in newspapers being published from London, where Musharraf currently resides. (ANI)
