AHMEDABAD - The prosecution in the Godhra train carnage case Friday sought death penalty for all the 31 men convicted of burning the Sabarmati Express and killing 59 people in February 2002.

Additional Sessions Judge P.R. Patel Friday reserved the judgement on quantum of sentence for March 1.

A special fast track court had Tuesday convicted 31 people and acquitted 63 in the case, which triggered communal frenzy in Gujarat in 2002.
