Person familiar with case says Armstrong friend testifies before cycling probe grand jury

LOS ANGELES — People familiar with the case tell The Associated Press that a longtime friend of Lance Armstrong’s has testified before a federal grand jury hearing evidence connected to allegations of doping in professional cycling.

The people, who spoke on condition on anonymity, say Stephanie McIlvain appeared before the panel, which met all day Wednesday.
